Why us?
Reflexology dates back to 2330 BC. The Egyptians used reflexology as evidenced by the physician’s tomb. It showed the Egyptians working on each others feet and hands. It then spread to the Roman empire and all across Europe. It wasn’t until the 1930’s that Eunice Ingham developed American Reflexology as we know it.
When I was shopping for schools to formally educate myself, I found many weekend classes to learn and get certified as a reflexologist. They were cheap and quick. But just didn’t think that would give me enough information to become a good reflexologist.
I studied the Ingham method of reflexology and decided to learn from them instead. It was a long process of study, workshops, and actually working on clients. Their program required 200 hours of study and practicals. 100 hours in the classroom and 100 hours working on clients in order to take the written exam. After you completed the hours and passed the exam they would give you a certificate in the Ingham method of Reflexology.
This information I learned was not a copied version. It was the actual version that started American Reflexology. That’s over 80 years of developing their method.
It was not quick or easy and it took me a few years to master their method of Reflexology. Now that I have mastered the Ingham method, I feel like that qualifies me to help you.
